  • Good-bye, Xanga World

Yes, I'm leaving. Not for the (apparently) popular reason that Facebook is taking over my online social world (I don't do Fb), but for the simple reason that I have now joined a church that doesn't approve of the Internet--let alone Xanga. :) Oh well. I can imagine I'll have more time to do other things (like sew maternity dresses) now. On the other hand, I will sadly miss those of you with whom I keep up...it seems Xanga kind of took away the need to do email updates. Maybe I'll have to start those again.

In the meantime, I just wanted to warn you that you likely won't hear much out of me on here, at least not for a good long while. *sob* It's been good, friends!

Well, when it's all said and done I should have citizenship in both countries... And the lawyer said that not ALL of these papers are absolutely necessary, but that it speeds up the process like crazy!:) And btw, very kool that you're willing to give up internet for church beliefs! I admire people that follow what their church asks them to do! Well, keep it up, and have an awesome day, morning, evening, whatever! lol

I'll miss you, Jenn.  I was hoping to see pictures of your baby....oh well.  New church and community adjustments...sigh...I've been there and it is not easy.  I remember longing for a place that felt like home.  Seven years later I think I have found it and I am grateful.  I wish the same for you someday.

@lifeisadance - I'm hoping so, Clarita. It would be a nice way to keep my family and friends informed about our lives.

@janelleandco - Thanks, Janelle. That's encouraging. :) In a way it feels like I'm leaving what was starting to become home...just to do the adjusting thing all over again. Maybe it's God's way of making me more dependent on Him. I hope I learn it!
