  • Hurray :)

We're moving to Ireland! Gabriel got accepted to a school over there for September, so it looks like his dream of becoming a doctor is on its way to being fulfilled. We were starting to wonder whether God still wanted him to pursue this dream after his cancer two years ago, so this feels like a big confirmation to our prayers for guidance. Our little house has seen some pretty hyper people the last few days!

Another reason we're excited is because we're going to have a baby. :) Hurray!!! Junior is due September 1st. I could worry a little about how we're going to manage moving across the ocean so soon after having a baby, but I'm trying to leave it in the Lord's hands...and just be excited about this new addition to our family!

Looks like we'll be in Ireland for four or five years, so any visitors to the Emerald Isle had better look us up! :) We'd LOVE to see you!

Congratulations to you, Gabriel & Jen!  Both about the school & the baby!  I will keep you in my prayers.  Albert  PS  Thanks again for allowing us to come to your wedding!  That was so special.

Wow! Congratulations on both very large pieces of news!  Lisa had told me about it (since i don't get the OC updates anymore). I get this little tickle of excitement when i think of you living in Ireland... not sure why, because that will mean you're Very Far Away. I was just thinking about you the other day, and then i heard your big news. All the best! I'm sure God has really good things in store for you. -LaRonda

wowee--does that mean we will be 'neighbours'???? Where is the school?  I'm sooo happy for you, both for the baby and the move!

  • livingwater4me

Congratulations! So happy for you - you love adventure, right? This will be lots of adventure, I'm sure. :)

Lucky you, going to Ireland! I would love the experience of living in another country. I was just feeling a little blue that I have the opportunity to go to Ireland this summer, but probably won't be able to afford the time or money. Maybe I'll make it over during your sojourn there. Congrats on the baby. I hope the pregnancy goes really well.

YIPPEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  So excited for you both!  And to Jen, Ireland winters will be C O L D but you won't be wading through a million miles of snow and the flowers in spring and summer are just perfect!  Happy for you!  When does school start?

  • Jabber_wock

@smilesbymiles - School starts sometime in September, soon after I'm due. :S Not sure how that's going to work out, but I'm trusting that we'll have peace about whatever decision we have to make. We are planning to have the baby here, though.

@sara5750 - Do come visit, Sarah!

@livingwater4me - Yeah, well, at least I used to like adventure...maybe I'm getting old, because the thought of moving across the ocean just looks like a lot of work sometimes. Other times, though, it IS exciting!

@Anitajoyyoder - Yes, we'll be "neighbors!" Gabriel's school is in Dublin, but he also applied to ones in Limerick and Cork, so there's a chance we could end up there instead.

  • Anitajoyyoder

Ahh, I hope you make it into Cork. It's the nicest city of the 3!

WOW!!! That's a lot of exciting news to be told!! I've always dreamt of going to Ireland to visit, I can't imagine how romantic it would be to live there!! That is such a wonderful dream come true! And congratulations about the baby coming! You've got your mind and heart full these days, I'm sure! So happy for you!

Am looking forward to having this little person in my arms... =) Wow, to think of having one of my own... not just a neice or nephew, but our own... Good luck!!!!

  • misstroyer

Seriously...how cool is all that??!!  Absolutely amazing opportunity.  Say Hi to Robin Mark for me.  Oh, but he's in Belfast, so that's a ways from where you'll be.

I really like your background on your site!!  Did you have to pay for the ability to design it like that?

  • Jabber_wock

@misstroyer - Thanks! Yeah, we don't plan to head up to Belfast anytime soon...too violent. :P Oh, and the background is just a xanga theme...

@MrsMuffinT - Thanks, Sara. I hope your delivery goes well. Let us know when the little muffin is here! :)
